First Model Shoot and Studio Time

Howdy hello!!

I'm trying so hard to keep everything up to date at the moment, but with new classes starting with Point Shoot Play, all the organising for the Gold Coast Craft Fair, studying, photography and just life in general, it's hard to keep up with my blog. I've even let my 365+1 project slip - it was too hard to remember to take and upload a photo every day!

So, Easter has come and gone. I was lucky enough to join the beautiful Rachel Richter to photograph a wedding on Easter Saturday. I love weddings and this one was just lovely. Congratulations to Juanita & Shaun!!

Easter Monday brought a few people from a website (http://www.timeforprint.com.au/) together for a studio photoshoot with a couple of models. The stunningly clever Penny Antuar was visiting from Perth, so she did the makeup for us. Christiana and Kristie were a lot of fun and lovely to work with.

The day was a lot of fun and a nice introduction to working with professional models. Thank you to all the wonderful people who played for the day. Thanks to Meg who hosted us at her studio. Thanks to Louise who organised the day.

Learn Photoshop @ Carindale, Brisbane

Add ZEST to your photos with Point Shoot Play in a Basics 101 class! Learn the basics of Photoshop using Adobe Photoshop Elements 5, in a classroom environment. I'm the tutor for this class, which is a lot of fun and very informative. We talk about photograph files, fixing colour, sharpness, red eye and lighting in your photo, as well as learn how to change a photograph to black and white PLUS how to make a photo black and white leaving a small amount in colour.

When: SUNDAY 30 MARCH 2008

Time: 10AM to 12.30PM

Cost: $45 per person - each with use of an individual laptop to play along during the class!

Gold Coast Craft Fair

3rd - 6th April 2008 - It's less than FIVE weeks away!

The Point Shoot Play team has been busy working out all the best bits to show you at the Fair.

PhotoShop Basics 101 - Point Shoot Play's most popular program. Join Peta, Sara or Andrea for three hours while we guide you through getting to know your photoimaging software. Use a mouse or the fabulous Wacom Bamboo Fun graphics tablet on an individual laptop, for only $45 per person.

Photography Seminar - Sara or Andrea will run you through the basics and teach you some tips and tricks to improving your photography, for only $20 per person.
